- hockey stick
- floor hockey puck
- hockey net (or 2 cones)
Description:
- child tries to shoot the puck into the net (or between the cones)

Modifications to make the activity easier:
Change the task: have the child focus on hitting the ball/puck without passing it to a partner to decrease cognitive and social demand
Change the environment: have the child start closer to the net to decrease physical demand
Change the equipment: use a bean bag or tennis ball instead of a puck to decrease physical demand
Modifications to make the activity harder:
Change the task: have the child strike a moving puck/ball to increase physical and cognitive demand
Change the environment: increase the distance to the net to increase physical and cognitive demand
Goal examples:
- The child is able to hit the ball into the net 7 out of 10 times from 3m away
- I can use a hockey stick to strike a puck into a net
