bean bag or ball, target (hula hoop on the floor or target on the wall)
Description:
- child stands in one spot and aims to throw a bean bag/ball at a stationary target

Modifications to make the activity easier:
Change the environment: have the child stand closer to the target to decrease physical demand
Change the equipment:
- use the bean bag only to decrease physical and cognitive demand
- increase size of the target to decrease physical demand
Modifications to make the activity harder:
Change the environment: increase the distance between partners to increase physical demand
Change the task: have the child toss the ball at a wall target to increase physical and cognitive demand
Change the equipment: use a smaller ball to increase physical demand
Goal examples:
- I will be able to throw a bean bag through a target from 3m away, 4 out of 5 times
- I can underhand throw a bean bag through a target, using my right hand
