Modifications to make the activity easier:
Change the environment:
- make the path that the child has to follow in the snow very straight to decrease physical demand
- have the child hold onto a parent or adult during the activity to decrease physical demand
Modifications to make the activity harder:
Change the environment: increase the number of times that the child needs to turn in the trail to increase physical demand
Change the task: have the child complete the activity while only staying on one leg to increase physical demand
Goal examples:
- I will be able to follow a path that is 10m long in the snow
- I can follow the tracks in the snow in front of me
